Here at Miombo Safari Camp we offer three different styles of guest accommodation.

The four raised platform guest suites are constructed on top of very strong poles & steel beams, with a sturdy light-coloured wooden floor, double canvas sides with large bug-screen covered windows. The forward facing folding doors that open out onto the verandah overlooking the waterhole have large bug-screens & roll down blinds.

Each of these guest suites has a main bedroom, with a wardrobe & storage space for clothes & footwear, a private en-suite bathroom with twin ´His & Hers` basins, ample hot & cold running water on demand, an interior private shower & separate private toilet.

We also have two standard tree houses. These accommodation units are rustic & not of the same standard as the new platform units. Instead they cater to safari lovers who may have been to Miombo Safari Camp prior to its transformation, or folks who are seeking a slightly less luxury & more `rustic` bush accommodation. One of the tree houses has a double bed, the other one has twin single beds. Both have en-suite bathroom, flush toilet, walk-in shower & basin with vanity unit. They have a personal security safe & electric fans. These two tree houses overlook the waterhole & are in prime location for game viewing from the balcony or your bed, in perfect safety.

In addition to the raised platform guest suites there are four classic ground level thatched roof rondavels, each one accommodating two guests, with bedroom, wardrobe, private bathroom & shower.

Miombo Safari Camp willingly caters to families with young children or teenagers & we can accommodate a family of four under the same roof.

How your day´s safari activities will unfold

Guests on the ´All Inclusive´ safari program will be woken just prior to the first rays of filtered sunlight cresting the eastern horizon, to be welcomed to the new African dawn with a tray of coffee, tea or hot chocolate & homemade cookies.

Then it is time to get dressed & equipped with camera, sun hat, binoculars & any specialist bird or animal guide books, you are ready to depart on morning game drive in a custom-designed safari vehicle in Hwange National Park with your assigned local professional safari guide, as the sun caresses the surrounding tree tops.
