The same spacious Meru style tents with flush toilets and bucket showers, are set up for the duration of your stay at Chitake where you can enjoy being in the African wilderness with only the sounds of the birds and wildlife around you and the shade of a tree to keep you cool.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Al fresco with a private chef on site each day preparing fresh, wholesome meals for you.
Important points to note about Chitake Tented Camp:
There are no vehicles for game drives so all activities are done on foot
The camp is fully run on solar power only
A maximum of six guests in camp at any one time
No children under the age of 14 years permitted
Suggested itinerary would be to spend two nights at the camp then continue onto the Ruwesi Canoe Safari or onto another camp(s) Little Vundu or Vundu.
It is recommended to book up to a year in advance for the camp as it is extremely popular, being only one of three sites in the Chitake area.
